Senior sessions always feel special, but getting to photograph my own nephew as he gets ready to graduate made this one even better.

We wanted to make his senior pictures personal, so we started at the local library in Sardinia, Ohio. It was the perfect spot since he spent the summer interning there, and it felt like a natural way to capture a part of his story. The library gave us some unique and meaningful backdrops.

After that, we hit the streets of Sardinia for a few outdoor shots. Small towns like ours have so much character, and the textures and simple scenes made a great setting for some classic portraits. We finished the session at Eastern Brown High School, where he spent the last few years growing and getting ready for whatever comes next.

The best senior sessions are the ones that feel real. This one was about more than just marking the end of high school. It was about celebrating who he is right now and all the places that helped shape him along the way.
