I recently had the joy of photographing a player during soccer game for a little girls' team in Sardinia. I didn't intend to become a sports photographer. It started with my son playing on his team, and what began as a way to capture his moments on the field has blossomed into a passion for documenting the excitement of youth sports.

As I watched these young athletes play, I was reminded of the fulfillment and determination that comes with being part of a team. The enthusiasm of some of the girls was infectious! I loved capturing their triumphant smiles, those intense moments when they were laser-focused, and the carefree attitude that comes with this age and makes it so special to capture.

I strive to encapsulate the energy of the game, whether it’s the thrill of a goal or the determination in their eyes. Every shot tells a story, and it’s incredibly rewarding to deliver those memories to the families.

Being a sports photographer wasn’t something I planned, but it has become one of the most fulfilling parts of my work. I can’t wait to share the photos with the team and their families! Watching these young players grow and thrive on the field is a reminder of why I love what I do. Here’s to many more soccer games and the stories waiting to be told!
